We used our week again way back in January for a stay-cation of sorts. The kids had fun skiing and tried out a lot of new trails for Harkin and Izzy. I hadn't been there in so long it was really quite fun. They also love going to all the activities they have for families. We did bingo, swimming, sledding, ice carnival and of course ice cream. We also got to watch the fireworks this year. We could see them from our room but Harkin talked Eric into going down to the mountain to see them a little bit closer.
It was a fun week and am glad we can still do this.
Every night there was good sleeping from our busy days.....

birthday #5

Here she is. My big five year old. We had a great day. First we woke to open presents and play for a little bit with new toys and then headed off to the water park.  We had lots of fun and there was much more to do for everyone since it had been a few years since we were last there. New slides and surfing.

Once exhausted we came home to open a few more presents, dinner and cake.  We had nachos and beans as requested by Issabelle and chocolate cake with strawberry frosting.  It was a wonderful day celebrating my last 5 year old. Getting too big too fast. :(
