4 months

My little bug turned 4 months old today. We are having so much fun. He is finding is toes lately and talking up a storm, and has been working hard on rolling over. Today he accomplished it but when no one was watching. I had put him down on his back and when I walked back into the room he was on his tummy. I watched him closely for the next hour but no more tries. I am sure it will continue as the days go on. He is getting so big. Tomorrow he has his 4 month check up and we will see how much he has grown.

ten

William turned ten last week, the day before we left for vacation. TEN! I still can't believe he is now a young man as he likes to tell me so very often.  I remember the excitement and awe about becoming a mother just like it was yesterday, except it has been ten wonderful years. He is my sweet, sensitive, fun loving boy.

We went mini-golfing, tried out his new clubs at a driving range and hit some balls at a batting cage. Then came home to watch a movie and eat his favorite cake. It was a great day and fun was had by all.

Looking forward to the next ten years:)

birthday time

Happy Birthday to my best friend! We spent the day playing mini-golf,  having lunch out and celebrating with birthday brownies and ice cream.

Hoping that this year is all that you want it to be.

Love you always and forever, R

crossing the border

We are headed North to visit Canada for the week. Everyone is so excited as this is our first time. William has done research and found all the places we should visit and eat.

I have been randomly posting lately and since we will be away I most likely won't be back until late June. It has been a busy month for us and there will be lots to share.

See you then.

pretzels and play

We met up with some local homeschoolers today to make pretzels and play. The boys had fun and are beginning to meet some pretty nice people. Hoping to make this a monthly occurrence.

dairy festival parade

Big happenings were going on all last weekend. We attended our first Dairy Festival. The boys thought it was neat. We got to see a pretty cool parade.

We even bought a piece of land for the Cow Plop. Now what is a cow plop you may ask(as did we).  It is when they march a cow down the street and hope she poops in a good spot, preferably yours. They paint a big grid on the street and number them, Then you buy a square. The boys chose 149, combining their birth dates. However we were not the lucky winners. There's always next year.
