Fort Ticonderoga

Took the kids to Fort Ticonderoga for their homeschool day. Our first field trip of the year. We had fun checking everything out and then got to go through their corn maze and ended the day by taking a drive up a mountain for a spectacular view. A very nice day with my two babes.

Spent a sunday afternoon with my girl painting a beach scene. She is so very creative and it was fun to spend time with her.

We have been going to our local library for evening sewing programs. Izzy has taken super well to it and loves doing it. She has made a pillowcase and now a zippered bag

 Took a morning walk with my grls in a local town forest. Alway nice to be out in the woods.

new seasons

The boys are busy with their new seasons. Working hard for several weeks in pre-season before school actually starts. Doing what they love every day! 
 

dining out

 Headed up to Jay for a dinner out before Landon headed back to school. It was a beautiful summer evening, missing Will of course though.

lake day

We finally had our first lake day of the summer. Kind of crazy that it is August and we are just getting out there. It was a beautiful day though. A slight breeze and clear skies. The kids had fun kayaking to their own private island and exploring while I sat on the shore and knitted.
