Woke to snow this morning and then headed out to practice shooting and picked up books from the library. When we got home they headed outside to play in the snow and build the Great Wall of China out of snow. We have been studying all about china this month. 

The big boys stayed home and did their lesson work, built with Legos and then went across the street and played disc golf in the snow. 

A decent day in this life of ours:)

the last week of march

 We have been home this past week having fun doing the day to day. Crafting, playing outside, holding onto the last bits of snow, learning and playing our new favorite board game and of course dressing alike since its so much fun!!

first trophy

 Issabelle and Harkin participated in their first archery tournament last weekend. It was the adult /youth shoot. Eric shot with Harkin while Landon was able to shoot with Izzy. 

Issabelle and Landon's team came in third place and therefore she received a trophy. She was super excited and happy!

Everyone had a great time though. It was an fun evening for all four of them.

spring fever

 Spring has sprung here this past week. We have skied with temps being in the 50's. Today it reached almost 70 in the sun. The kids have been outside for hours the past few days. We are loving the weather and at the same time we still have a bit if snow left in our yard. We still may get some cold temps and snow but we are loving the days at the moment.

 My sweet girl had me to herself this morning and we spent it learning about India and making crafts. She was very into it all and had a fun day at home.

first week of march

We've had a good week. Two full days of lessons, then a ski day midweek, and archery and errand day, a cold day at home learning and creating. 

Landon has gotten back into his stop motion videos and will spend hours working on a 30 second segment. Totally amazes me. 

There was also some fun sledding with friends and Nordic skiing as well as more days at the mountain.

Life is pretty good up here in the woods of Vermont. We are are healthy and enjoying our days as best we can.
