thanksgiving

We spent the day at home, cooking, playing, reading and just relaxing. It was so mellow that I really did not take too many photos. We do not do the traditional turkey. Instead we had ribs with grits. However, mash potatoes, cranberry sauce and corn still made their appearance.

Both boys helped make something- Landon did the cranberry sauce and William made cranberry sorbet. The first time we have used our ice cream maker after having for way too long. He was so excited to finally be using it and the sorbet tasted great.

Issabelle discovered she can open cabinet doors and very pleased with herself.  It was a nice day spent with just us.
