almost 8

Tonight I snuggled in bed with my sweet William on the eve of him turning  8.  Wow!  8 years have passed since I became a mama.  I have learned so much and am still learning as the days go on what motherhood is all about.  As Will becomes older we have met with some challenges but are slowly working our way through them.  He is trying to find his independence while I hold onto his innocence and need for mama.  He is growing. It is hard for this mama but I will manage. I know there is a whole other level that our relationship will begin to take. I am excited for us.  And I am excited for him.
