We beat the rain and headed out early on Saturday to get our tree. We took the long way there so we could have a nice family country drive (aka dad's stalling). Eric and I just walked with the kids while they decided upon a tree together and then did all the work cutting it down and dragging it back. Both Izzy and Harkin gave it a shot. Will ended up doing most of the work.
There was a nice surprise treat afterwards- candy canes! All were happy and we got a pretty good tree!
The tree looks perfect. What a wonderful family outing and project. XXXOOO
