birthday # 8

 

What a great day of celebrating my big man. 8 years old already. We woke up and opened presents since there wouldn't be too much time later. He was thrilled with all of his gifts and was so excited to be heading to the skate park for the afternoon.

We had two hours all by ourselves. It was tons of fun for everyone. I even tried it for a millisecond.  Everyone else did great. There was skateboarding but also roller blading and scootering. By the time we left everyone was tuckered out and had a few new bruises to boot.

We came home for a yummy dinner and then a huge cake. Chocolate Oreo cream. 

It was a wonderful day of celebrating!

 Such an exciting day at archery this week. Izzy got her first pin and Harkin got two pins. He reached on last week and then he got his next one this week while shooting. They are both super excited!!

birthday # 6

We spent her birthday at smugglers notch. We woke up and opened presents from her brothers and then went snowshoeing. Came home for lunch and then went skiing so she could use her new poles! She was very excited about these.

When we came home we hung out and played while dinner was made. We had nachos and Caesar salad. Then brownie sundaes for desert and opened more presents from mommy and daddy and Grammy and Grampy. She had a great day. She loves that she gets to have her birthday at smuggs. 

I can't believe she is 6. Now I really feel like I have no more littles. They are getting too big.:(
