Uncle Ed and Aunt Kathy

We had such a great visit with my brother and sister-in-law. Lots of laughs and plenty of good skiing as that is what they wanted to do with the kids. We had amazing weather for the beginning of March. They were some long days but oh so fun. Thank you Kathy and Ed for making the journey across the country. Hope to make it a regular winter fling๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

the lion came late

March's lion came this past weekend in the form of 3 feet of snow. We were on the mountain when the storm began and then awoke on Saturday to a beautiful snow filled yard and driveway. This was one of the few times we (Wiliam) had to snowblow! Lots of snow.

Issabelle and Harkin spent the entire day Saturday outside. They left at 10, stopped in for a quick snack and then didn't come back till dinner. They had such a fun day together and all the snow. I enjoyed inside: baking and knitting.

The next day when I went out to take a few pictures, Harkin was back on the mountain with Daddy. It was their ski day while the rest of us hung out at home. Landon was relaxing after a hard day of competition and Will had soccer practice. Izzy and I took a walk to the stream. Something that is becoming a nice little habit these days.

So we are still in the midst of winter although the calendar does say spring. We will enjoy it while its here and get a few more good days on the mountain.

roadie

I finished this little guy a few weeks ago and it was instant love for Harkin. He named him Roadie. It makes me happy to create for them and that they love them so.
