Although everyone was excited we didn't actually get up any earlier than we normally do. Thanks to Santa leaving a book by their door as always it gets us a little extra time to wake up and get ready to head downstairs.
Once down, it was full on excitement. Stocking were opened in a frenzy and then chocolate candy was eaten- what has happened to me??
Opening presents was fun and nutty all at the same time. I tried to capture it as much as I could but I was trying to enjoy it as well. A big tree with lots of presents and a very narrow space for all of us can resent a few challenges. Everyone was so excited to hand out their presents and of course open their own. It was fun.
Once we opened everything and cleaned up a bit, breakfast was had and then onto the business of playing with it all. People were busy building with Legos, playing games and reading books for most of the day.
