stitches

Issabelle slipped on a rock in our backyard/woods while exploring one morning with Harkin. She fell and hit her chin causing it to split open and ended up with 4 stitches. She did a super job at the hospital. They were in for about a week. She will most likely have a scar but it's pretty hard to see.

We were at a friends house for his birthday and since it was Izzy's half birthday we gave her apiece of cake with a candle. We just like to kinda celebrate it which make it exciting for them. She was thrilled with this.

wild waves

Every now and again the lake decides to have some good waves. Everyone had a great time using their new boogie boards and riding the waves.

We took a little stroll through our town's story walk and had some pretty yummy smoothies to help us along the way. (one of our froggie's)

national ice cream day

Quite the day to remember. It was late in the day. We drove an hour to get the ice cream. They gave Izzy, Harkin and Landon all the wrong ice cream-- coffee!!! We did not discover it until it was too late.  The ride home was super crazy  and it ended in tears.  But we got homemade ice cream which was totally worth it - right?? Sometimes momma doesn't always have the greatest of ideas. But I love my kids.

fairy festival

Our local yarn shop was putting on a fairy festival this summer and of course we went in search of fairies and their houses. It was a lot of fun. The kids made their own fairy houses, wands and crowns. An added bonus was face painting.
