lincoln and pretzel log cabins

This year we subscribed to Kids Discover magazine. I like how each issue is about one specific topic.

This month's happen to be about Lincoln and the Civil War which Landon just loves. At the very end they give you an idea to make log cabins using pretzels and peanut butter. The boys loved the idea and had such a great morning making their designs. Landon changed his around several times before ending with a tepee style house. Whatever works is my philosophy. We also used a few flavored candies that were to be chimneys, or fences, or grass or whatever.

They both enjoyed eating them throughout the day.
