A Happy Sight

Happy New Year! We woke up to a delightful sight. Right at the bottom of our back steps a little squirrel was helping itself to the boys' pumpkins. At first they wanted Gritty to run out an scare him away, but I convinced them that we were helping out nature and that the poor little guy needed some yummy food to eat.

The rest of the day they were happy. "We helped feed the squirrel", they told daddy.



Then there was playing in the snow, snowman building, battles fought(playmobile), puzzles making, decorations taken down and lots of loving done the rest of the day.

A good first day of the new year.
