how we manage a smaller space

When we travel we usually stay in a one room apartment.  

We don't have our own space.  And of course don't have our bookshelves and toys like at home.

The boys each pack their own backpack with some of their most precious toys,a few special friends(stuffed), and books.

We take a card game we all enjoy.

The boys decide upon one building toy we can take. tinker toys, lincoln logs,etc

We take an easy art activity such as watercolors or dot painters, 

We always have our journals to draw and write about our days.

I relax a bit about the T.V. and we watch more than we do at home.

Traveling  can be tricky at times but as long we remember to be patient and calm, we all have a great time.
