words

Landon received a new little tiny notebook last week from a friend.  The minute he got home he decided it was the place to start a list of words.  I haven't really asked him to write much, nor have I emphasized his letters. He can write his name and we have been working on those of family members.   But nevertheless he got out the picture dictionary and wrote lots of words.  His big brother was by his side reading the words for him.  I love how it is his interest that made him want to do this and not my decision that he needed to do it now. I still can't get over how he wrote the words so tiny because usually at this age their letters are pretty huge.  It has been a fun thing for him to do over the weekend.
